For OCTOBER, we will continue with a regional text to win promotion. The promotion will be launched on October 1st, 2011. For this month the game will be known as “The Road to Sunderland”. Customers will send a keyword to a defined short code and they will automatically opt into the game and will be able to win interesting weekly prizes and be in the draw to win an all-expense paid trip to Sunderland, UK to watch an English Premiere League football game.

1. The ‘DIGICEL ‘FOOTBALL’ TEXT TO WIN COMPETITION’ (“the Competition”) is available to all Digicel customers (“the Customer”)
2. The Road to Sunderland is a text-to-win commercial activation throughout the host markets for the DKSC 2011 programme
3. This will last for 4 weeks during the month of October (Oct. 1 – 31)
4. It will be a Q&A trivia promotion, where the questions will be DKSC and football related
5. The grand prize will be an all-expense paid trip for 2 winners and 2 guests ( 4 people in total) to Sunderland, United Kingdom, where they will attend an English Premiere League game (TBC) as well as visit the Academy of Light (Sunderland’s training facility) and tour the stadium. The lesser prize packages will be awarded each week of play which will be provided by the local markets
6. Entries must be received by 11:59 pm on October 31, 2011 to be eligible for the draw on, November 10, 2011.
7. After the Competition Period, a winner will be selected at random from all the correct responses on Nov 10, 2011.
8. The Customer enters the Competition to win a Prize Package which includes:
   1.  1 trip for 2 to Sunderland  UK to watch a football  match and visit their training academy
   2.  1 trip for 2 to Sunderland  UK to watch a football  match and visit their training academy
9. There will be two (2) winners of the Grand draw for the Competition who will get the Grand Prize Package,
10. Digicel will be responsible taking care of the cost and invitational letters for winners without passports and visa applications.
11. In the event winners are refused visa/passport, the winner would have forfeited the prize.
12. The date of the trip will be the week of December 8th - 12th
13. Digicel will contact the winner by telephone on the day the winner is selected.
14. A maximum of five (5) calls will be made to the selected winner within a period of an hour. If no response is received during that hour, another winner will be selected until a winner has been contacted.
15. The Winner will have two (2) weeks within which to collect their prizes after they have been notified a winner.  Digicel will retain any prize not collected within the stipulated time.
16. Prizes are to be collected from the Digicel office of the country where the winners resides.
17. Winners must bring valid photographic identification and the phone and sim card with which they entered the Competition in order to redeem the Prize Package.
18. Minors are eligible for this Competition but must be accompanied by a parent or guardian when coming to redeem their prize.
19. Digicel employees, dealer principals or employees of any of our affiliated companies, advertising, Competition and public relations agencies, dealers, distributors, or anyone else connected with this Competition and their immediate family members and household members are not eligible for entry. For these purposes immediate family members are spouses, parents, siblings and children.
20. Winners will be required to participate in any planned publicity in connection with this competition.  By entering the Competition, the prize winner consents to the use of his name, likeness, image, photograph for any and all programming and/or publicity or advertising purposes, commercial or otherwise, in all media and formats used by us or our agencies, without further compensation, throughout the entire world in perpetuity. If a winner refuses to do so, they forfeit their right to claim the prize.
21. Digicel, reserves the right to at any time vary the terms of the Competition, to amend its Terms and Conditions, or to withdraw the Competition. In any of these events notice will be given via media advertisements or messages to subscribers and will be effective immediately or as of the date referred to in such notifications.
22. Digicel reserves the right to terminate, cancel, suspend and/or modify the Competition if any fraud, virus or other technical problem corrupts the administration, security, safety or proper play of the Competition. In such event, Digicel hereby specifically reserve the right (but not the obligation) to award some other prize hereunder (as determined by Digicel) by means of a random drawing from among the eligible entries received up until the time of the impairment.
